For your FIRM to participate in TMLS you must have the following:
Board of REALTOR® Membership
The Principal of the firm, partnership, corporation, or branch office* must be in good standing as a member of any Board of REALTORS®, have a current valid North Carolina or Virginia real estate broker’s license and be capable of offering and accepting cooperation and compensation to and from other Participants or are licensed, certified, or trainees as designated by an appropriate state regulatory agency to engage in the appraisal of real property.
Triangle MLS System Training
As a new subscriber to the MLS, you are required to take a hands-on class. If you are an existing MLS user and have taken Paragon5 training, you have already met this requirement. Contact DRAR at (919) 403-2117 to schedule TMLS System Training.
Triangle MLS Broker-In-Charge Orientation training is usually offered the first and third Thursday of every month from 1:15 to 3:15 PM. Existing MLS users must repeat this requirement if they have never served as a Broker-in-Charge in MLS or if it has been more than 18 months since they have completed this class. Contact DRAR at 919 403 2117 to schedule BIC Orientation.
Complete the Participant Application and bring it to the TMLS office along with the initiation fee and quarterly user fee (see Schedule of Fees below). Fees may be paid by credit card or check. (Make the check payable to Triangle MLS, Inc.)

Letter of Good Standing from the REALTOR® Association where applicant holds Primary Membership.
