Dear REALTOR® Member,
Thank you for your interest in transferring your membership to the Durham Regional Association of REALTORS®. We look forward to providing you with many valuable benefits and services.
REALTOR® members holding primary or secondary membership in an Association in the Triangle may request to transfer membership pending receipt of a letter in good standing from current Association and payment / transfer of current dues. Should NAR and NCAR dues have previously been paid by the current Association; a pro-rata share of prepaid local dues will be requested and applied to DRAR dues. Failure of current Association to transfer prepaid local dues to DRAR, shall constitute payment of dues by member.
Transfer of primary membership is contingent upon membership in DRAR by your Broker-in-Charge. Transferring members, in good standing with another Association in the Triangle, will be exempt from attending the new member Orientation course or paying Initiation fees. Transfer fees are not applicable.
REALTOR® members requesting transfer from an Association outside the Triangle will be required to attend only the part of Orientation that is applicable to benefits and services of the Durham Association.
