Membership Information
New Member Orientation
Welcome to The Durham Regional Association of REALTORS® !
All new REALTORŪ applicants must attend orientation within 60 days of application. Orientation is generally held on the first Thursday of each month from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the DRAR building (Driving Directions). Following are some upcoming Orientation dates:

Application Steps
- Email membership@durhamrealtors.org or call the DRAR office at (919) 403-2117 to register for Orientation class. You may, at this time, also choose to register for the classes you will need to take in order to access TMLS. Go to How to Join the Triangle Multiple Listing Service for more information.
- You may print an application from the Membership Applications section of this website. Please review your application carefully to make sure all sections are filled in completely.
- Go to our Fee Schedule to determine the amount of your new member dues.
- It is preferred that your completed membership application, a copy of your real estate/appraisal license or pocket card and your membership dues be submitted before your Orientation class date.
- Attendance at Orientation is not permitted until all paperwork and fees have been received, therefore, if you have not submitted your completed membership application, a copy of your real estate/appraisal license or pocket card and your membership dues in advance, please plan to arrive for Orientation by 8:45am.
- In addition to attendance at Orientation class, all new REALTORŪ applicants are required, within 60 days of application, to complete an online Code of Ethics course through the National Association of REALTORSŪ website, www.realtor.org. Instructions and deadlines for taking the course will be distributed during the Code of Ethics Summary portion of Orientation.
